Pets must be on a leash at all times. They are not allowed in indoor facilities and in the HAKUUN-DO tea garden.
Can we re-enter the park?
Re-entry is not allowed once you have left the park.
Do we have to pay park entrance fees to take part in CRAFTHOUSE workshops?
Yes. Please pay at the entrance.
Are meals available in the park?
Yes! There are 2 eateries in the park: Cafe PIC, whose speciality is stew in a bread bowl, and ISSHIKIDO, which serves beautiful sandwiches.
Can children take part in the workshops?
Glass blowing : minimum age 4 Lampwork beads : minimum age 6 Kiriko glass engraving : minimum age 11 Pottery wheel : minimum age 11
Any other workshop is available with adults.
Are reservations necessary?
We do not accept individual reservations. In most cases workshops will be available when you arrive at the CRAFTHOUSE, but there may be waiting times on Sundays and at certain times of the day. Please enquire in advance for group reservations (10 person or over).
Can we go outside while we are waiting?
Yes. We will give you a re-entry ticket to allow you to use waiting time effectively. (Please enquire at the CRAFTHOUSE reception)
Can we take our work home with us?
Yes, except blown glass and ceramics! Blown glass will be sent to you at a later date as it takes time to cool down. We will send ceramic pieces after they have dried and been fired. We will take good care of your items and hope you will look forward to receiving them.
